KESALAHAN BERBAHASA PADA SURAT DINAS SMA NEGERI 9 KOTA JAMBI

This research aims at describing language errors in writing letter numbers, mailing letter, opening paragraph, and closing paragraph of official letters SMA Negeri 9 Jambi City year 2019. is a qualitative descriptive. The technique used collecting data are observation documentation. results the analysis show that numbers use colons slashes which preceded followed by space. Errors indicated kepada indicates redundancy; colon (:) should be replaced period (.); punctuation marks (.) end address; bold address.
